Kargil diwas

REPORT ON THE EVENT- INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA

                                                                Date- 26^th  June, 2022

The students of St. Joseph’s College for Women (A), Visakhapatnam, participated in the event Kargil Vijay Diwas organized by ACME, A Creative Makers in Events, Visakhapatnam, commemorating the day as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 26^th June, 2022 at Kalabharathi Indoor auditorium, Maddilapalem, Visakhapatnam. Along with 10 other Academies which include Schools, College and Dance institutes the event was organized for 4 hours which included felicitation soldiers and their family who sacrificed their life on that day.

The team of SJCW performed a fold dance and a patriotic dance. Both the dances received huge round of applause from the audience. The council advisors who joined the event include- Dr Anupama, Dr Praveen, Ms. Sony, Ms. Veena and Dr Hadassah.

REPORT ON THE EVENT- INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA

                                                                Date- 21^st June, 2022

Ministry of Sports, Shipping and Waterways & AYUSH Dept., Government of Andhra Pradesh have organized International Day of Yoga- 2022 on 21^st June, 2022 at Swarna Bharathi Indoor auditorium, Maddilapalem, Visakhapatnam.

The students of St. Joseph’s College for Women(A) participated in doing Yoga and around 11 students performed patriotic dance. The performance received huge applaud from the audience. The students were accompanied by Dr P. Mary Anupama, Ms Sony, Ms Veena,  Dr Praveen and Dr Hadassah.
